SportsEngine is looking for a Manager of Digital Ad Operations to build and execute the digital monetization strategy of our platform. In the initial phase of this position, emphasis will be on upgrading page/screen technology to improve programmatic revenue, like proper tagging, key values, viewability, and header bidding code in order to maximize results with real-time bidding exchanges and private marketplaces. You will also partner with our (SE and NBCU) direct sales team to help with campaign strategy, execution and analysis. Key Responsibilities will include: Exceed SportsEngine ad revenue and revenue / impression on all digital platforms Structure & negotiate strategic deals with ad networks & demand-side-platforms (DSPs) Assess new opportunities to enhance technology stack & improve yield Advise on technical implementation of web/mobile code improvements to increase yield from real time bidding (RTBs) Create and manage advertising offers with Private Marketplaces (PMPs) Relationship owner of our digital monetization partners, as well as daily interactions with yield reporting systems, inventory management systems, ad serving and forecasting systems Partner with our Product Management and Development team to build innovative marketing solutions that enable brands to directly target, engage our audience. Build, execute and measure performance against all digital campaigns (both programmatic and directly sold) Analyze, troubleshoot and proactively develop recommendations for channel and product optimization to maximize revenue opportunities Advise team and clients on identifying campaign KPIs and tracking methodologies that are critical to the campaign's brand and acquisition goals Key stakeholder in our mobile monetization strategy Identify growth opportunities and strategies to meet company goals Requirements: 8 + years of digital media experience, demand and supply side Extensive ad operations and analyst experience Strong experience working with ad servers and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst, DoubleClick/DART Thought leadership on the digital media landscape and current strategies to drive yield Strong analytic, strategic problem-solving and decision-making skills Expertise in IAB advertising standards BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or other analytically and quantitatively focused field
