Film Production Technician
The University of Westminster is looking to recruit an experienced film production technician to work in our prestigious media faculty in Harrow, North London. You will work as part of a team delivering a range of student-focused technical services within the film production and studio areas with shared responsibility for Health and Safety.
You should have knowledge of 16mm film production and the operation of industry standard HD equipment. Students have access to Arri Alexa and Arri SR cameras. You will be expected to be able to demonstrate the use of these cameras, grip and lighting equipment. Experience of managing digital projection and associated audio equipment is desirable.
You will contribute to the development of our moving image courses, working with industry-professional-academic staff and students, to realise their ambitions.
You must have a “can-do-attitude” to the work as well as good inter-personal skills. Extensive industry experience is essential, preferably in a technically orientated industrial or commercial environment.
