The BFI is the lead organisation for film in the UK. We are a Government arm’s length body and distributor of Lottery funds for film.

The BFI is looking for a Press Manager to be responsible for the delivery of the Division’s objectives, delivering press & communications, both reactively and proactively, across the BFI’s corporate and industry remit including Film Fund, Partnerships, Media Desk UK, Certification, RSU and Strategic Development team.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Press and PR and alongside corporate communications team to develop and deliver corporate & industry press strategies, in particular the relevant elements of the BFI Future Plan.

To be successful you’ll need previous experience of the film industry and understanding of the complexities of a publicly funded environment in addition to strong knowledge of the trade media and excellent contacts. The successful application will need the ability to work and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including distributors, producers and funded partners effectively.
