The role:

  • Drafting and negotiating agreements for a range of television programme related contracts including broadcaster contracts, co-production contracts, contracts with rights holders, digital networks and brands, supplier and talent contracts and more
  • Advising on a range of television related compliance matters including copyright matters, data protection and privacy, OFCOM codes and compliance and broadcaster codes and compliance
  • Administrative duties including creating templates and streamlining processes
  • Any ad hoc duties required
  • Assisting the Senior Legal and Business Affairs team
  • Any other legal and business affairs related tasks
  • Training and support will be provided

The candidate:

  • Experience working for a legal / business affairs team within the media industry
  • Educated to degree level
  • Understanding of TV programme related contracts
  • Able to work hard under pressure and be flexible as the hours can be demanding
  • Some experience in intellectual property is desirable
  • This role would suit someone who has some experience but is still at the beginnings of their career

The Terms:

  • Full time hours
  • 6 month contract with the possibility to go permanent
