Production, Producer
Job Type

Christian Aid is brave, passionate and outspoken. Are you? We’re looking for an experienced Producer to join a dynamic multidisciplinary communications team.

In this role, you will be responsible for finding innovative ways to tell stories that communicate the impact of our work and break through indifference. You will lead a specialist team of film makers and photographers to ensure that film, stills and multimedia projects are original, creative and produced to the highest possible quality.

You will be responsible for creating films (documentary and promotional) across a range of subject matters for internet and broadcast distribution. You will also oversee the production of photography as well as multimedia productions such as podcasts and audio slideshows for use across a wide range of channels on and offline.

Your extensive background working in television, film or multimedia communications will mean you are able to take the viewer beyond the raw data of projects, or the complexity of policy papers, and provide a human perspective to the changes Christian Aid wants to see. You will have a strong portfolio of work to your name and a good understanding of production and post-production procedures.

An experienced manager and a confident multitasker, you will be able to juggle effectively a range of competing projects and priorities. You will have an eye for detail and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to schedule. You will act up for the Head of Team in her absence.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is fired up about ending poverty and injustice and who is looking to step into a wider management role in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary communications team.

Please note that shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide a showreel of work at interview.

We value the contribution each person makes to the success of our organisation.  That’s why you can expect a wide range of rewards and benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, a season ticket loan, and flexibility that will ensure you enjoy a good work/life balance.

You will be required to have a standard disclosure check from the CRB.

As this post is UK based, non-EC nationals will require current and valid permission to work in the UK.
