Technician Tutor in Digital Post Production

Full Time Post: 36.25 hours per week
We are looking to appoint a Technician Tutor to support the Post Production activities of our lens-based courses. This post is aligned to the Film Production, Animation and Digital Film and Screen Arts courses and supports moving image disciplines, specifically: Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Studio, and associated compositing software across Windows and Mac Operating systems.
You will also be required to compile learning materials and deliver technical workshops and tuition as appropriate. You will provide support to students and staff using IT hardware and software skills may also be called upon. Knowledge of relevant cameras and multi-media applications such as Adobe CS would also be an advantage.
You will contribute to the care and maintenance of equipment and be responsible for the health and safety in your area of competence. You will also have excellent communication skills, be a good team worker and be able to demonstrate an aptitude for dealing tactfully with students and staff. The ability to work under pressure is essential.
