HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL SALES
Thriving UK-based international film company seeks head of international
sales to run the sales team, overseeing sales in all media and all
territories of a 15-film annual feature film slate. Based in the London
headquarters, the role will include management of three sales staff,
coordination of the company’s sales efforts at film markets and festivals,
close interaction with film-makers and financiers as to the sales status
of films, charge of sales estimates and targets in the financial year and
regular travel to raise the company’s profile around the world. The role
also includes oversight of library sales and TV markets. The successful
applicant will have at least five years experience in film sales arena,
will have a broad range of distributor relationships in major territories
and have a comprehensive knowledge of the independent film marketplace.
