Premier League Productions is a dynamic and challenging business that produces and distributes the Premier League’s international broadcasts. This includes looking after live international production for all 380 matches per season, liaising with Premier League Clubs to help manage on-site production as well as producing a whole series of Premier League content distributed around the world. We are creating a new Broadcast Services Team with a number of prestigious roles working with the Premier League and many of their international partners.
Head of Broadcast Services – Will oversee, manage and lead all elements of Premier League Productions’ new Broadcast Services Team, including on-site operations and our distribution services. This person must deliver an exceptional and consistent level of service and support to all Premier League licensees, Premier League Clubs and Host Broadcasters, and will also be responsible for setting the strategic direction for distribution and technical facilities - both on-site and at our production base. Considerable commercial experience is required as you will be negotiating all independent facility and distribution deals. Production Executive – Will manage the on-site operations team and work collaboratively with the Premier League’s UK Broadcasters to ensure the combined Domestic and International broadcast activity runs efficiently. To liaise with Premier League appointed Match Managers in providing the best service to all Premier League Clubs. Previous experience in live sports production as an established Production Manager as well as knowledge of the Premier League is essential. Job reference: PLPPROXOSR0214
Technical Engineering Manager– Will be responsible for management of all Broadcast Services’ technical facilities including all Outside Broadcasts ensuring that shows are produced efficiently, on spec and budget. Previous experience as a Unit Manager working on live OBs and sports programming is essential as well as experience of booking satellite feeds and managing large teams. Production Coordinator – To assist the Production Executive/Senior Production Manager and Production Managers in the management of the on-site operations team by ensuring all production paperwork is completed to deadline as well as booking crew, equipment, feeds and travel. Will be required to prepare callsheets, manage floats/float reconciliations and manage budgets. Experience of booking facilities and of completing accurate paperwork is essential. Finance Admin Assistant – Will provide financial and accounting assistance to the Broadcast Services production team. This will involve assisting the Production Managers with monthly actual cost reporting against budget and analysing/explaining budget versus actual variances. Previous experience in a production accounting / finance environment is essential as well as practical knowledge of SAP. Job reference: PLPFINADMIN0214
CORE & CONTENT
Production Executive – From development to delivery, working closely with key programme making teams they will push to ensure the programmes are produced efficiently, on spec and on budget and adhere to all compliance issues.
