The School of Journalism and Digital Communication hosts one of the oldest professional programmes in Journalism which has celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012. The School is also home to a range of cutting edge courses in areas such as Film, Publishing, TV and Media Production and across a wide and creative range of digital media. You will build on the School’s impressive record of key industry partnerships in digital research and course delivery that empowers our graduates to flourish in a wide range of sectors and professional careers. You will also extend the School’s global reach, building on its current course provision in China and India.
The successful candidate will bring the perfect blend of professional industry experience and/or higher education leadership coupled with a clear vision of the future role of universities within the media and digital professions. They will lead the School successfully, grow its business, and enhance the quality of what it offers to students and partners.
