
Studio Camera Operator
Owing to a recent promotion and the opening of our HD Sky Studios complex, a vacancy has arisen for an experienced Studio Camera Operator.The purpose of the job is to perform operational pedestal based camera duties at a high level thus ensuring that the customer experience is the best possible from the pictures they see.
The work is very customer-facing, and demands commitment, attention to detail and the ability to produce quality television around the clock - anytime day or night - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with regular weekend working.
In collaboration with the Operations Manager (Cameras) and camera operators within all grades, the position will contribute to the transformation of Broadcast Operations into the industry's leading broadcast division.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate must be prepared to work weekends and have a proven track record in a live studio broadcast television environment. Operational experience of Jimmy Jib, Steadicam or Radamec Robotic Camera Systems would be beneficial but not essential.
