Senior Lecturer in Animation [AMD11-13]
£37,012 - £44,166 per annum
Required to lead our successful Animation courses within the Faculty of Arts Media and Design, you will contribute to our growing national reputation of Animation, be ambitious and bring to your work dynamic professional and academic networks that will support the experience and ambition of students.
You will be a practising animator/senior lecturer with knowledge and understanding of the history and contemporary development of animation. You will be able to teach across a range of established undergraduate modules as well as contributing to the curriculum of your specialist interests in either 2D traditional approaches or stop motion or digital 3D animation. You will be able to contribute to developing knowledge transfer or research opportunities in the subject area and enhance an existing culture of ‘live’ project work through links with industry. You will be expected to take a leading role in the administrative award leadership duties within the subject team.
