Further information

When you join Turner Broadcasting, you become a crucial member of the world’s leading media company. We’re the people behind some of the most innovative and respected broadcasting out there. Think Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, and TNT. Bring your broadcast engineering expertise to us and you’ll not only be able to develop your career in a thriving global company – you’ll actively contribute to its ongoing success.

Joining us in our state-of-the-art, 24-7 playout facility, you’ll support and maintain all of Turner’s channels in the EMEA region. This is a key management position, for which you’ll need a broadcast engineering background, a keen understanding of SD and HD signals and measurements as well as knowledge of transmission playout infrastructure and automation systems.

Naturally, you’ll have excellent broadcast, technical and IT knowledge – and a background in engineering or database management would certainly stand you in good stead. Confident working with major operating systems such as Windows, Mac and Solaris (Unix) too, you’ll also support content delivery, ftp servers, ingest, transcode and asset management systems, including data storage and archive. But what really sets you apart is your ability to translate what, to many, could be seen as complicated IT jargon into plain English to solve problems and answer queries for our clients.

Please note that if you are not an EU citizen you must be able to show a valid work permit for the UK.
